Another Revenge Porn Boss Wants To Have His Info Removed From The Internet

Yes, I’m writing about another revenge porn boss. The universe has just thrown this in my lap. First Hunter Moore being set for prison, and now Craig Britton demanding internet related privacy. This delicious, hilarious schadenfreude that is too good to ignore. Also, the internet is inundated with articles about that mind-boggling dress, so I’m putting up something different in protest.

Craig Brittain is the man behind the site IsAnybodyDown. You see, it’s different from Hunter Moore’s porn revenge site’s name IsAnybodyUp because “down” is the opposite of “clever”. Clever, right? IsAnybodyDown is similar to IsAnybodyUp by having creator that is human garbage.  Brittain is another “entrepreneur” who profited from the violation of women’s privacy. Brittain would catfish women online, get their nude/sexual images, and then demand hundreds of dollars to remove the images from his site. He put up pictures of around 700 women. I’m sure he really patted himself on the back for having the business savvy to trick his way into getting nude images and then essentially extorting the victims for money.

The Federal Trade Commission has barred Brittain from publishing nude images of people without their consent. The only person who isn’t happy about this news is Brittain. He demanded that Google remove the news links about him from their search engines. He is invoking the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) in hopes to remove 23 links that relate to him. He’s essentially asking for the right to be forgotten. Here’s the list of what he wants removed:

Unauthorized use of photos of me and other related information. Unauthorized use of statements and identity related information. Unauthorized copying of excepts from isanybodydown.com. Using photos which are not ‘fair use’.

So let me break this down: the violator of privacy is demanding, without any awareness of irony, for his right to privacy?

Beyonce

Shark

Ursula

Google is ignoring this demand and, for once, I’m gleeful reading the news. Have a sunshine day, everyone!
