Twirl To This New Track: “Helicopter” By TWRK via Mad Decent

TWRK made a mysterious appearance in 2013, helping to pioneer the 100bpm sound alongside some of dance music’s biggest names. An early affiliation with Mad Decent led fans to believe that TWRK was Diplo, but finally members Benzi and eSenTRIK came into the spotlight when Diplo exposed their identities on his Diplo & Friends show on BBC Radio 1.

The duo draws inspiration from the Atlanta twerk/hip-hop and New Orleans Bounce scenes, gaining them an early co-sign from Diplo and other genre supporters. TWRK’s millions of plays across more than 20 songs have earned them large billings on some of the biggest lineups in the world and helped make 100bpm a festival staple. “Helicopter” is one step ahead of their biggest tune to date, “Badinga.” It’s got a vocal drop that makes panties drop and that’s all that you need to know.

The duo has announced their debut We Are TWRK EP with their new track “Helicopter“. The rest of the 4-track EP is out May 5th on Mad Decent, stream “Helicopter” and below and get it as an instant grat with pre-order of the EP.
