H&M Channels Their Holiday Spirit Through Katy Perry

The holiday season is among us and of course that means that clothing stores are releasing their holiday collections. It's been a great year for H&M.  I haven't shopped at H&M for a while but just this past couple of months I've been loving the clothing I'm seeing in there.  The companies many collaborations with celebrities and famous fashion houses has brought them lots of attention this year. There was the David Beckham and Kevin Hart collection called H&M Modern Essentials and of course lets not forget the H&M Balmain collection that people went crazy for.

It's no doubt that H&M has become one of the most popular stores.  As for their holiday collection they continue to use their clever methods of recruiting famous faces in Hollywood to promote their clothing.

As apart of their #HappyandMerry campaign Katy Perry performed and created a new song called "Every Day is a Holiday". It's a fun and festive video including walking candy canes, gingerbread men, reindeer, and the glitz of glamour of Christmas. The video also has  cameos by models Jourdan Dunn and Sean O'Pry.  The collection is very trendy and cute with sweaters with sayings like, "Snow Way," and  "Yes I've Been a Good Boy." Although, I'm loving the clothes at H&M lately, the holiday collection isn't as good as Forever 21's.

I love the red dress Katy Perry is wearing in the video it looks like the perfect holiday dress. However, she is a celebrity and professionals have helped her look flawless. I don't know if I'll look good in it.  H&M's collections always follow the current trends, but sometimes it's hard to look good in their clothing because only select items have the ability to last and still have a new quality look to it. When buying clothes from there pay attention to the fabric and read how the item should be washed. Who knows this may be a good quality dress perfect for those holiday parties.
