A lot of people aren't aware that Chuck Taylor/Converse manufactured some of the most durable boots back in the days.
Following historical tradition, the sneaker company decided to 're-boot' some of the best construction materials used (up to industry standard) while keeping the original Chuck Taylor look. Bridging fashion with winter footwear, you won't be disappointed with this release.
The Converse Chuck Taylor Chuck Taylor All Star II Boot is one of the most comfortable pair of boots you will ever get a chance to step into. Not only will it keep your feet warm, it will also keep them dry during the harsh winter season that is coming our way. Converse put together a special media-event where they took over the warehouse area of the Marché Bonsecours in the old-port of Montreal to showcase the release in the most extravagant way possible. Real winter blast, ice sculptures, and real slushie snow to test the boots in too.
Featuring a premium, mesh-backed waterproof leather, with a neoprene collar and heel pull are included to help keep water completely out of the boot while a 360-degree heat barrier helps keep feet warm. The boot also features a rugged, post-applied weatherized gum outsole with deep grooves for better traction and a Nike Lunarlon foot bed for enhanced cushioning.
The release comes in a few colorways including Egret, Antique Sepia, Black, Dark Chocolate, and it is now available in Canada for a suggested price-point of $140.
Now available at Foot Locker, SportChek and Little Burgundy.
