LOOK | La Maison Bald Man Collabs With Neo-Punk Aficionado Frikal Patrick For His Visual Lookbook “SOFT PORN”

You might need to watch this a few times.

“The concept is that we are young ones who do things that are sort of hype, but weird… It’s art.”

This is how the video below starts off, setting the tone for what you are about to witness.

One of our fave video production house, La Maison Bald Man, teamed up with emerging Fashion Artist Frikal Patrick to put together visuals behind the ideologies of his craft. We've previously covered Xavier's work for various music video on The Buzz.

I had my eyes on Frikal Patrick too, a young visionnary who has a strong voice on social media, a man of multiple talents most notably known for his dry humour on the Best & Finest web series, but didn't get a chance to cover his craft until now.

Some buzz arised during the summer when Frikal Patrick was featured in a couple of events showcasing his talent at giving new life to old clothes through his fashion endeavours. It caught my attention immediately, but I didn't have anything to show for it until he released this visual lookbook.

In a day and age where the fashion industry might be a tad bit boring, we have people like Frikal Patrick, who we can say is a fashion artist,  taking garments, usually found through thrifting, and recycles them by finding pieces you might never wear "as is" – He cuts them up, and then sews pieces back on jackets, pants, shirts and other accessories to breed new life through it.

Featuring young neo-punk aesthetics, where everyone is good looking alongside strong individual personalities that are elevated throughout the video explains a lot behind what Frikal Patrick's vision is all about. Inclusion, out of the box, weird aesthetics and personalities.
