You're about to do a double-take.
Don't be surprised to see Oakley take their iconic motocross heritage and turn it into dope streetwear. Whether you're into sports or not, doesn't count right now, because the brand just opened a new door for all those who've obsessed over the iconic aesthetics for a long time but did not have a reason to jump on board except for now.
The all-new Oakley Thermonuclear Protection capsule collection is for you. Honouring the currently trendy 90s California style, Oakley developed their latest streetwear collection alongside Justin O'Shea to bring oversized sportswear to a new level of steeze all while sticking true to its roots, and still offering iconic looks that will quench the thirst of streetwear afficionados all over.
This collection offers a range of long sleeves, sweatpants and t-shirts in black and white, putting the spotlight on the dope graphics, hand-picked to match the thematics of the capsule's name, such as the coakraches and condoms, bringing irony to the term of Thermonuclear Protection.
There's also a couple of bold gradients and bright colours that remind us of the Oakley Iridium lens colors from the 90’s, staying true to the brand. Also, the logo used throughout the collection comes directly from their first product release, which was a motorcycle grip from back in 1975.
